These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Vũ Xuân Cường, the individual who develops and operates Tank AI ("we", "us"), for your use of the Tank AI mobile game (the "App") and the website tankai.app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it for you to agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
2. Your account
- You can play as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple. A guest account lives on your device: if you uninstall the App or change phones without linking Google or Apple, your progress may be lost.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. One person, one account, unless we say otherwise.
- You can delete your account at any time (see Delete account).
3. Display names
Your display name is public on the World ranking. Do not choose a name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone else or includes personal information. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule, and we filter some words automatically.
4. Fair play
Tank AI is a game of skill and a little luck. To keep it fair for everyone, you must not:
- use bots, scripts, macros, emulators or any tool that plays for you or gives an automated advantage;
- modify the App, tamper with replays or network traffic, or exploit bugs to gain an advantage (please report bugs to us instead);
- access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or interfere with the Service;
- buy, sell or share accounts or progress.
Every win is checked by our servers. If we have evidence of cheating, we may remove results from the World ranking, hide an account from the public ranking while we review it, warn you, and on a repeat offence suspend or terminate the account. If you believe we made a mistake, contact support@tankai.app with your Player ID and we will review it.
5. Tanks, progress and future purchases
Tanks (lives), levels, progress and rankings are game features, not property. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. The Service currently has no paid features. If we offer purchases in the future (for example extra tanks or cosmetic skins), they will be sold through the App Store or Google Play under their terms, and we will update these Terms before they launch. We will never sell anything that changes the result of a battle.
6. Our rights in the Service
The App, the Website and all game content (including maps, art, characters, AI and the Tank AI name and logo) belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from. You may share screenshots and videos of your gameplay.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
8. Changes and availability
We are constantly improving Tank AI. We may change, rebalance (including AI difficulty and game rules), suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. The Service requires an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 6, 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after termination.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that progress will never be lost.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer you keep all rights given to you by the mandatory laws of your country.
12. Apple App Store
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for claims relating to it (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims). If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Viet Nam. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@tankai.app so we can try to resolve it in good faith. If that fails, the dispute will be settled by the competent authority under the laws of Viet Nam. This does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or any right you have under those laws to bring a claim in your local courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the App or on the Website before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Language
These Terms are written in English. If we publish translations and they differ, the English version applies.
